Electronics

1. Disposal of electrical and electronic equipment

The symbol with the "crossed-out wheeled bin" means that electrical and electronic equipment marked with this symbol must not be disposed of in the residual waste container.

You are legally obliged to dispose of such waste equipment at a collection point separate from unsorted household waste, e.g. at public waste collection companies or certified primary treatment facilities. Disposal via household waste is prohibited. Avoid incorrect disposal by handing it in correctly at special collection and disposal points.

As an end user of electrical and electronic equipment, please note that you are responsible for deleting personal data (e.g., names on user profiles in coffee machines or similar) from the end-of-life equipment to be disposed of.

2. Removal of batteries and lamps

Batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed in the old appliance, or lamps that can be removed from the old appliance without damaging it, must be removed before delivery to a collection point and disposed of separately as batteries, accumulators, or lamps.

3. Options for returning old appliances to Roastmarket

Owners of end-of-life appliances can return them free of charge within the framework of the options for returning or collecting end-of-life appliances set up and made available by public waste management companies to ensure the proper disposal of end-of-life appliances.

Retailers with a sales area for electrical and electronic appliances of at least 400 square meters, as well as food retailers with a total sales area of at least 800 square meters, who offer and market electrical and electronic appliances several times during a calendar year or on a permanent basis, are obliged to

• 1. when delivering a new electrical or electronic appliance to an end user, take back an old appliance of the same type, which essentially has the same functions as the new appliance, free of charge at the place of delivery or in its immediate vicinity, and

• 2. at the end user's request, accept old appliances that are no larger than 25 centimeters in any of their external dimensions at the retail store or in its immediate vicinity free of charge; the take-back must not be linked to the purchase of an electrical or electronic appliance and is limited to three old appliances per appliance type.
